Bentley appoints Connect for European brief


Connect Group has been appointed by leading luxury automotive manufacturer Bentley Motors to handle dealer marketing in the UK and Europe.

The Wolverhampton 80-strong agency has handled Bentley’s UK dealer marketing since 2004. The new brief sees Connect’s work increase three fold to cover 59 dealers across Europe. The agency has made three new appointments on the back of the win which comes at an exciting time for Bentley as the brand launches the new Continental Supersports and the all new flagship Bentley Mulsanne.

Peter Grant, Bentley’s UK dealer marketing manager, said that Connect’s experience of working with the brand since 2004 and the synergies that could now be brought together across Europe helped the agency win the new business: “Connect’s brief is far reaching from developing dealer marketing strategy to implementation of campaigns. The agency will support our dealerships with marketing collateral, advertising, event planning, direct mail, CRM and digital.”

Connect’s clients include Tarmac, Chiltern Railways, Uni-ball, Goodyear Dunlop and Lee Longlands.
