The team from the Wallgate retailer joined forces with the Wish FM ‘Get Stripped’ World Cup fundraising event which helped raise over £500 for the local hospice.
The ‘Get Stripped’ campaign saw radio listeners kindly donate a pound to Wigan & Leigh Hospice for the privilege of wearing their football strip to work.
Carl Hazelton, brand manager at Corkills Volkswagen said: “We had great fun supporting Wish FM’s fundraising event and are very grateful to the public for their generous donations.
“Our aim was to help raise awareness of the great work of the Hospice and although we didn’t achieve the results we wanted in the World Cup, we had a very successful outcome for Wigan & Leigh Hospice.”
