HiQ save the best champagne moment until last!

The HiQ fast fit network believe that the best champagne moment has been saved until last, after Jason Plato won the final accolade of the season by a record margin.

The leader of the Dunlop British Touring Car Championship not only won his first HiQ Champagne Moment of the season for his performances at Donington, but he secured the highest percentage of votes ever.

A huge 91 per cent of fans voted for the Silverline Chevrolet star to win, having battled back from a retirement in round one to a pair of podiums in races two and three.

It is Plato’s first champagne moment win of the season and comes at an ideal time for him, as he attempts to win an extremely close drivers’ title on Sunday.

Plato, Tom Onslow-Cole, Gordon Shedden and Matt Neal could all lift the silverware late on Sunday afternoon in one of the most enthralling seasons in recent history.

BTCC fan Kirsty Nutton from Peterborough was picked at random to win a bottle of champagne and she will now win a pair of tickets, grid walk, and chance to meet Jason on Sunday morning.

She said: “I didn’t think it was possible to be any more excited about Sunday, but HiQ has proved me wrong thanks to their champagne moment competition.”

In the meantime, the HiQ fast fit network will be attempting to turn Brands Hatch pink on Sunday, in an attempt to raise as much money for Breast Cancer Care as possible.

Pink hats and T-Shirts will be available to pick up on the day and it is hoped that spectators will continue to show their generosity to the cause, as HiQ attempts to hit its £100,000 target by the end of the month.
