A Harlow business has appointed a former fitness instructor to head up its business sales division, giving it a healthy boost.
Lewis Evins has accepted the role of business manager at Volkswagen car retailer, Abridge Harlow.
The former fitness instructor has turned his energy into the automotive sector having worked in the leisure industry for over 14 years.
The 31-year-old initially trained as a lifeguard and then specialised as swimming and trampoline coach and a fitness instructor in the Harlow area. Lewis then progressed into managerial and sales roles where he developed his expertise before transferring his skills to the automotive industry.
After two years at the Abridge Loughton branch as a sales executive, Lewis quickly progressed in to the senior management role at the Volkswagen site in Harlow.
Speaking about this new role, Lewis said: This is a exciting challenge and although it’s a different industry the wants and needs of any customer are very much the same.
“I have always enjoyed customer interaction and I am looking forward to enhancing Abridge’s service and help to drive the business forward.”
Brand Manager at Abridge Harlow, Ashley Humphreys, said: “Lewis’ enthusiasm and expertise makes him the ideal person to strengthen the business and develop our customers’ needs.”
