A local business is celebrating after scooping two exclusive awards following record levels of customer satisfaction.
Ridgeway Volkswagen was awarded the regional 2008 Sales Management Excellence award and achieved ‘Retailer Excellence’ status, after finishing top of Volkswagen’s 215 nationwide sites.
The retailer based at the Triangle is no stranger to success having claimed the ‘Retailer Excellence’ title in 2006, 2005 and 2004.
Volkswagen closely monitors its retailers ensuring that all areas of the business are performing according to Volkswagen standards and targets. Scores are collated throughout the year culminating in the annual result. Only the top ten performing retailers are awarded the ‘Retailer Excellence’ status.
Throughout 2008, the Ridgeway team, led by Simon Shaw, consistently provided a personal, friendly and knowledgeable service for customers. An accumulation of mystery shopper scores and customer satisfaction reports helped secure the awards.
Brand manager Simon Shaw said: “We are delighted to have achieved these awards which couldn’t have been done without the hard work from all members of the team.
