A Maidenhead under 10’s football team has stepped out in style this season in a brand new kit sponsored by Windrush Volkswagen.
The Hammers, part of Holyport FC, which play in the Slough Mini Soccer League, were launched in 2007 and play seven a side matches.
Windrush Volkswagen with sites in Maidenhead and Slough has confirmed a two year sponsorship deal with the team. The 10-strong squad will receive new shirts and equipment to help improve its facilities and attract new players.
Speaking of its new sponsorship, Holyport FC vice chairman, Roland Schilling, said:” We are thrilled that Windrush is supporting our junior team. It’s the first time our under 10’s has received such a sponsorship and we feel this will be a real boost for the team.
“We are delighted to have the backing of a local business and are very proud to have such a credible brand associated with our team.”
Windrush brand manager, Tim Attwood, added: “We are happy to support the local team and would like to wish them the best of luck for this season and the next.”
