Leamington Spa Volkswagen retailer, Spirit, has boosted its senior management team with the appointment of a new business manager.
David Hobson has joined the Apollo Way site bringing with him over six years of automotive sales experience across a range of high profile manufacturers.
The 28-year-old began his career in retail management before transferring his customer and sales skills to the automotive sector. Initially specialising in sales David quickly progressed to managerial roles before accepting his current position at Spirit.
David said: “I am thrilled to be part of the Spirit team. The family run business already has good people and processes so I am looking forward to enhancing the business to attract a wider audience.”
Adam Derbyshire, managing director of Spirit Volkswagen, said: “We have introduced a number of new team members and process this year to ensure we continually offer our customers the best service.
“David’s appointment and expertise will certainly help to strengthen our business profile in the area.”

A Leamington Spa retailer has reacted to a boom in business by increasing its sales and service teams.
Following a steady growth in used car sales Spirit Volkswagen has appointed a dedicated used car sales manager.
Amit Kumar will lead the new team, bringing over eight years of experience in the automotive industry.
Looking forward to the challenge, car enthusiast Amit, said: “I have always had a great passion for cars and I am looking forward to growing the used car division. My first task is getting to know all the staff and customers.”
The service and aftersales department also welcomes the arrival of Lizzie Shaw as a new customer service advisor.
