Inchcape Volkswagen is joining Strictly Come Dancing sensation, Camilla Dallerup, to celebrate the 46th anniversary of the leading relationship charity, Relate.
As one of the events main sponsors, the Shrewsbury Volkswagen retailer is perfecting its moves to help make the Ladies Day 2010 a complete success.
Organised by Relate Shropshire and Herefordshire, the event takes place at Albright Hussey on Wednesday 21st April, and is strictly ticket only.
Gardening expert, Margaret Thrower, will compere the event which will feature a presentation and fashion show of Hayley J’s latest evening gown creations and a talk by dancing professional, Camilla. As the main speaker, Camilla will share her life experiences from the world of dancing.
It is the first time the Vanguard Way retailer has supported the charity as Pete Southall, brand manager for Inchcape, explains: “We are very happy to support Relate’s anniversary event and are looking forward to the day, we may even pick up a few dancing tips.”
A fleet of Volkswagens will be on display throughout the day along with a team of experts to answer any motoring concerns.
Relate’s Shropshire and Herefordshire chief executive, Lin Foley, added: “We are most indebted to Inchcape Volkswagen as it would not be possible to stage this special event without their support.”

WINTER FAYRE SUCCESSFULLY RAISES FUNDS FOR HOSPICE
Shropshire’s Severn Hospice is celebrating Christmas early following donations at a local Winter Fayre.
Shrewsbury’s Volkswagen retailer Inchcape, held the event at its Vanguard Way showroom and raised over £400 for the Hospice.
Local businesses ranging from a vineyard to cosmetics set up stalls, helping to raise vital funds for Severn Hospice.
Inchcape Volkswagen’s brand manager, Pete Southall, said: “The Winter Fayre was enjoyed by all and gave people the chance to raise money for a very worthwhile local charity, while at the same time letting them do some early Christmas shopping.”
