DARTFORD YOUTH TEAM KICKS OFF SEASON IN STYLE

Dartford FC's under-15 team has celebrated the launch of a new sponsorship deal with a solid start to the season.

In possibly the hardest game of the season, the team drew 2-2 away at Rusthall, just hours after being handed the kit from Dartford’s Volkswagen Van Centre, Beadles.

The sponsorship deal, worth over £1,500, is vital to the future of the club as it aims to continue the development of its youngsters.

Dartford FC's youth teams are hugely popular with some players going on to play for Dartford's first team; with the added incentive to progress in to professional football and follow in the footsteps of recent former players Jimmy Bullard, Dave Martin and Cody McDonald.

Nick Davis, the under-15s manager, said: “It’s imperative for this club to obtain sponsorship and Beadles’ involvement is invaluable.

“The money provides all players the opportunity to play, keep fit and develop as young adults by supplying much needed kits and equipment.

“This football club keeps the young lads in a safe environment where they can learn and progress with annual tours taking them abroad to experience foreign countries and traditions.”

Keith Banks, brand manager at Beadles Volkswagen Van Centre, said: “As a local business it’s vital we cultivate our relationships within the community; and what better way than to help develop youngsters with drive and ambition to create positive role models for the future community.

“By sponsoring Dartford FC's under-15s, Beadles is looking to the future by providing a good base for young footballers and possibly the professionals of tomorrow.

“Everyone at Beadles wishes the Nick and the team every success throughout the season.”
